Natural Farming with Masanobu Fukuoka

I could not think of a better person to start this new show series exploring Permaculture elders and pioneers than with a wise sage from Japan named Masanobu Fukuoka and explore what ‘Natural Farming’ is all about…

“The ultimate goal of farming is not the growing of crops, but the cultivation and perfection of human beings.”

Masanobu Fukuoka is considered a pioneer and father of the ‘Natural Farming’ movement. His ideas were also a leading inspiration for the concepts and principles of Permaculture. In this show I share some audio clips from different videos and interviews with and about Fukuoka explaining his natural farming philosophy. If you listen to this show in entirety, you will begin to understand his ideas extend much further beyond agriculture and apply to life and our relationship with Nature. Because of that, his unique approach has also been an incredible influence on our own relationship with Nature…
